The Medication Management Center (MMC) is established by Dr. Kevin Boesen (SinfoníaRx, CEO) in conjunction with the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona. The MMC rapidly pioneers Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services with the mission of improving the lives of patients with chronic and complex illnesses. The Program launches with six pharmacists, 3 pharmacy technicians, and 1 software developer.
SinfoníaRx's highly customizable MTM programs support millions of patients through relationships with health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, community pharmacies, providers and patients. Direct MTM services are provided to health plans across the nation utilizing our full service platform. Patient services are completed through our centralized clinical providers who are located at direct SinfoníaRx locations and at a number of the top colleges of pharmacy in the country.

Sandra Leal, PharmD, MPH, CDE is the Chief Executive Officer for SinfoniaRx.
Growing up in the small border town of Nogales, Arizona, Dr. Leal experienced first- hand the barriers to quality healthcare solutions and services. As a pioneer in clinical innovation, Dr. Leal’s decorated career has focused solely on conquering such barriers through her contribution to an optimized healthcare system with improved access to care, quality, and outcomes. Further, as a fellow of the American Pharmacists Association, Dr. Leal has acted as champion for population health optimization, and the pharmacy profession at large, by advocating for the role of the pharmacist in the patient care continuum.

As former Director of Clinical Pharmacy at El Rio Health Center, Dr. Leal led the expansion of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services through a collaborative practice model. During her tenure, Dr. Leal also worked extensively with SinfoníaRx founder, Dr. Kevin Boesen, to create a postgraduate pharmacy residency program focused on ambulatory care and business development training.
Impressed with the company’s novel approach to population health and ability to administer quality patient services at scale, Dr. Leal joined SinfoníaRx, first as Vice President for Innovation in 2015, then as Chief Operating Officer in 2017. Following Dr. Boesen’s transition to SinfoniaRx’s parent company, Tabula Rasa Health Care (TRHC), Dr. Leal was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of SinfoníaRx in 2019.
